How I Started Trading FOREX
I started trading FOREX (“FX”) since I was in my twenties and have close to 10 years of trading experience. I was introduced to FX trading from my colleague. I have tried swing trading, day trading and scalping. Swing trading works best for me as it requires minimal effort during the weekdays as I need to work and hardly have any time for analysis. Since I discovered the use of Expert Advisor (“EA”) 2 years ago, I have been using my FX EA to gain income passively. The return is lower than if I were to trade manually however it is entirely passive, which means I do not care and devote any time to looking at the charts. This has been something that I am proud of as it gives me the freedom to pursue other interests.
My FX EA / FX Robot
I am not good in IT but that doesn’t mean I cannot have my trading strategy automated into an EA. I have tasked an IT developer to code my trading strategy into an EA and never looked back since. Prior to having it 100% automated, I have it semi-automated, whereby I manually click the ‘Buy’ or ‘Sell’ button to trigger the trade. It was also during that time, I managed to discover a whole new strategy and that gave me wonder profits. The trade-off was I am CONSTANTLY looking at charts and my position. It is because as soon as the trade is closed, I need to manually trigger the entry.
Then, I decided to have the IT developer create a fully automated EA but this would need to be lower risk since I am entrusting my whole trading capital to the robot. My monthly return ranged between 1% top 5%, depending on market conditions.
How To Buy My EA
I am not selling the fully automated EA which I am currently using (at this moment) as I am not comfortable disclosing the strategy. Also, it would lose its edge overtime if everyone is using it (if everyone is making money, then who is losing?).

Broker I Am Using
I am currently using IC Markets. You may open an account using my link if you do not have an account. I have used IC Markets for a few years and have no issue with withdrawal. I also have a secondary account with CMC Markets. I seldom use that as the leverage is 20 and my EA is developed to work on a higher leverage like 200 to 500.
FX Pairs and Charting Platform
My FX EA trades only EURUSD. I seldom trade manually now. In the past, I used to swing trades a few FX pairs such as EURUSD, AUDUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY and USDCAD etc. I uses TradingView for charting.
